The Schutzstaffel was a major paramilitary organization under Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party.
They are less common than the Wehrmacht, being only found guarding free play targets and deployed in alarm level 3, but are more heavily armed than them.
SS soldiers can be found guarding freeplay targets such as searchlights and radar stations, and carry MP44 Machine Guns. They are very dangerous even in small numbers, however they are easily identified by their black Uniforms, red vertically striped trousers and ammunition belt around their necks.
SS snipers carry scoped carbines and are found in sniper towers, they can also be found guarding certain building particularly tall buildings such as churches.
The SS are only a threat in large numbers, like at a base or at high levels. They cannot be thrown, due to their large appearance.
