The Silver Claw closely resembles the Silver Dart visually, though the Claw's chassis is painted in a two-tone of red and silver. Additionally, the Silver Claw is superior to the Silver Dart in both acceleration and top speed, though they share the same strength statistics.
Background[]
The Silver Claw is first encountered during the prologue, at the Saarbrücken Grand Prix. Driven by Dierker, the Claw held a steady lead until Sean manages to overtake him in the Morini Aurora. Unwilling to be beaten, Dierker fires upon one of the Aurora's tyres with his pistol, forcing the Aurora off the track.
Dierker is named the victor of the race, with the Silver Claw to be displayed on a special victor's podium at the race track on the following day. Kurt drives the Silver Claw back to Doppelsieg to store overnight, and is unknowingly tailed by Sean and Jules. The pair decide to exact revenge on Dierker by hijacking the Claw and wrecking it.
Having infiltrated the Doppelsieg grounds, Sean jumps into the Silver Claw and drives it over a cliff into a nearby lake, having bailed out safely. Though the Claw is presumably destroyed, the pair are captured and subsequently tortured by Dierker.
Following the prologue, the Claw is no longer seen unless Sean completes the optional time trial race. This unlocks the "Lead Foot" perk which rewards Sean by adding the Silver Claw to his Garage. It is likely that following the damage it sustained during the prologue, and how it was overtaken by the Aurora, that the Claw was retired.
Doppelsieg would then go on to design and construct the improved Silver Claw mk. II, which would become Dierker's personal vehicle.
