Throughout the development of the Saboteur, there have been many changes to the content, including cut missions, vehicles, and weapons. Here is a summary of the currently known weapons that have been discovered that aren't useable in game without modification or glitches.

Sawn-off Double Barrel Shotgun[]

The Sawn-Off Double Barrel shotgun is a variation of the normal double barrel shotgun. It uses a scatter shot firing system with a vastly shorter range but increased damage at short range. While does very little damage at medium to long range, it is a very deadly addition to Sean's arsenal.

Unlike some of the other weapons in this list, this weapon is not seen held by any NPC's or enemies, nor can it be found anywhere in the game. This weapon has been kept fairly secret because of this and could only be found by modifying the game.

The weapon when used shares the same picture Trenchgun further suggesting it's place as a weapon that had been tested but later decided to be removed before release. As a double barrel shotgun, it has two shots before having to reload. Though despite being cut, it does have very unique properties with it's very large spread with it's scatter shot that is quite dangerous to any enemies up close, but keeps the accuracy incredibly low at any range past that. Any shot that does hit at a medium to long range will cause very little damage, but can knock them back giving Sean more time to get up close.

Lee Enfield Scoped[]

The Lee Enfield rifle is an interesting weapon in the game. While it can't be accessed in ordinary game, it can be found behind the counter at the entrance of the Belle. There is an MG-42 behind the counter there, since the Lee Enfield flashes while the MG-42 does not, it insists that the Lee Enfield can be picked up while the MG-42 can not.

The Lee Enfield Scoped is also interesting by the fact that most guns in the game have another variation, such as all snipers besides the Terror Squad weapons (which have no variations) have an unscoped version, there is no trace of an unscoped Lee Enfield Rifle in the game.

In gameplay, while an interesting addition to the arsenal, is fairly underwhelming in it's damage. This leads one to believe that it may have been intended for early game use as it often takes multiple shots to kill and on stronger enemies a shot to the head might not be enough. The Lee Enfield's accuracy is also fairly low, making the issue with damage worse.

Thompson Submachine Gun - Box magazine[]

This weapon is less exciting as it is a variation of another weapon, and by nature of the shortened clip it can be less useful. Players may enjoy this gun over the game's typical round drum variant on an aesthetic level for anyone who wish to play with the standard military Thompson submachine gun.

It can sometimes be seen held by Resistance members. Also player can find it at the very end of Bryman's mission "Dark reign" - several are lying on a crate or table near the last phone tap location.

Unlike the Sawn-Off Double Barrel shotgun, this weapon's picture does depict the weapon it's variation.

Walther PPK Un-Suppressed[]

The Walther PPK is limited by this variation due to it's typical weak state that is set to make up for it's advantage as a silenced weapon. Removing the silencer loses the major benefit to this weapon. While an interesting piece of the arsenal, it makes sense why it was cut. This gun has it's own sound as it needed to be changed to differentiate it from the silencer sound.

The Walther PPK without the silencer can't be used in game, but it can be seen used by Margot.

Sten Submachine Gun Un-Suppressed[]

The Sten is another gun that loses part of it's charm without the silencer. At the later stages of the game when you get this weapon, the enemies are

substantially tougher and the Terror Weapons are becoming available. It is due to this that the silencer becomes useful, despite it's small clip and small damage. Without the silencer it loses this functionality, but at an earlier point in the game it could still hold use.

This gun also has it's own sound to make up for how different the silencer sounds.

Raum Pistol - Standard magazine[]

This gun is also by nature less interesting, but despite being nearly non-existant in game, it can actually be found. It is the same Raum pistol but with a standard magazine, but visually it no longer has the magazine hanging out the bottom. While it seems the developers intended to remove the gun from the game completely, one instance of it can still be found within the Catacombs, found by players. This would insist that they left it either by mistake or did truly intend to leave it at least in one place. Regardless, this is a weapon that is quite 'rare' in that sense, and isn't normally accessible or well known. To find this variant of the Raum pistol, this video shows the location within the Catacombs.
